June 13th
We travelled across northern Minnesota,passed through Duluth over bridge to Wisconsin.
First sight of Lake Superior. (traded shiny beeds with the native indians) Red soil in Wisconsin just like P.E.I. After driving 8 hours we stayed one nignt at Michigamme Shores Campground
Michigan. Beautiful warm water beach on the lake.
June 14-15th
Traveled the upper pennisula of Michigan in the Hiawatha National Forrest. Drove 5 hours to
Soo Locks Campground in Sault St Marie Michigan/beautiful camp site over looking St. Marys River between Lake Superior and Lake Huron. Crossed border and had dinner at Wesleys(Ralph's cousin)in the "Soo" Ontario. 38 degrees C.
Next morning we went on a great 2 hour boat tour of the Soo Locks. Wesley and Bonnie took us to a Casino. Ralph won $120.00 but Marie lost. We enjoyed a delicious King Crab buffet.
Casinos are very Vegas style. Great to visit Wesley and Bonnie
June 16-17
8 hours south to Port Huron. Drove over Mackinaw Bridge (5 miles long,toll $5.00 US)
Between Lake Huron and Lake Michigan. Lucky to get a campsite in Port Huron KOA.
Chaos Saturday-over flowing with kids and dogs.
Happy Fathers Day. Rest and relaxation,Sunday everyone is leaving campground.
Off to Niagra Falls tomorrow.

Great to 'hear' from you again. Am very jealous about the weather. I went out to the campground on Friday but came back Saturday due to rain. Today is Sunday June 17 and its been raining all day. It is supposed to improve on Monday and then stay nice for awhile.
Carol gets back from Winnipeg tonight with her sister (from Toronto) in tow.

Just received your blog, sounds like you maybe the only ones to have a good summer as we are still dryin out from yet another lousy weekend of rain, rain,rain. We went to Sylvan with the Farmers (hockey tournament).

Hi, I check your blog everyday. Not much new with us, we were at Sylvan on the week end. Lisa and kids stayed with us. It rained but still had a great time. The kids change almost every time we see them. Little Ethn does everything Brooklyn does, or tries to anyway. We leave for Loon Lake a month Wed. Bob and Sarah got home tonight, so great to get them home. Keep the blogs coming!!
