Quebec City to P.E.I.

June 25th 2007

Last night we shared a fire with Gordon and Alletta(Sydney,Australia)and Don and Rita(Edmonton). Loved our special coffees! This morning we took wrong exit out of Quebec City but got on the right track through Quebec and into New Brunswick. Beautiful highways but lots of forrest and mountains. Saw the longest covered bridge in the world at Hartland,NB. Stayed at Yogi Bears Yellowstone park in Woodstock,NB.

Crossed the Confederation Bridge and the red soil of P.E.I. We are staying a week at the Holiday Haven RV Park in Cornwall. Our campsite is right on the Elliot River-absolutely beautiful. Supprised my mom, brother Rob and his wife Barb. My niece Pam and two boys Joshua and Elijah arrived a half hour after us from Halifax. Mom has a lovely appartment in the seniors complex.

Got settled in and cleaned three weeks worth of bugs off the 5th wheel. Visited Ralph niece Cindy and family. They have a beautiful swimming pool in the back yard. Big thunder and lightning storm during the night.

June 28 2007

Toured around our hometowns of Georgetown and Montague. Visited a couple of Ralph's aunts.
Misty and cool all day. The fields of purple and pink Lupins, the rich red soil and the hilly green farmlands are gorgeous. Clams strips and lobster rolls were the eats of the day.

Glad to hear you're having a great time. The pictures give us a little glimpse of what you're seeing. I guess we're travelling across Canada and the US through your eyes! Your neighbour took down his for sale sign this weekend... I guess they found out that the market isn't as hot as they thought!! Our livers are in traing for Stampede week!
Take care! Judy & Terry

Thank you for sharing the pictures, looks like you are having a great time. Gives us something to look forward to as we plan for our eastern holiday when we hit the freedom 55 holiday trails(OH WAIT.... Dave says it the freedom 95). We had a great long weekend and got lots of sun, rest and golf. Enjoy the time with your family and new found friends.

The way you describe the red soil, greenery and the purple flowers give me a whole new meaning to that song by John Denver - "Gee it's good to be back home again". Someday Rob and I are going to go to your home province and see all the lovely countryside and eat lobster etc.
Stampede week is fast approaching and I am going to see Reba at the Saddledome with my sister, Pat.

We are waiting to find out if our great-nephew's ball team made it to the finals. If so, the finals will be in Calgary and you know how I played fastball for years in Calgary and I just love that game.
LOL,
Genie & Rob.

Nice pics, good to hear you made it and are having a great time. We're just working and going to Sylvan on the week ends, we spend time with the babies most week ends, they are getting cuter every day. I love my new job, I am getting to know the new company ways. We are going to sneak a peak tomorrow night with Hubbells then off to the lake again this week end. It won't be long before we pull the trailer home and are off to Loon Lake, getting excited - love your blog - Love Linda and Bruce

Great to read and see the places that you've been to. Spent the long weekend at Little Blow(Windy)With the kids, great time. We are getting ready to leave for Kananaskis to meet Aubrey and family then on to Kelowna and Coeur d'Alene. Next stop with the gang at Loone Lake. Looking forward to a sizzling summer, just like you guys.
