July 18th
Left Pippy Park at 6:45 am and on our way across the province again. Straight highways over green hills and beautiful landscape. Many rivers and lakes with lots of lupins and other flowers.
Hot 28 Deg C. More mountains as we get to the western region. We entered the Gros Morne National Park and stayed in Rocky Harbour. Amazing scenery. Enjoyed Moose soup and went to a evening performance of Anchors Aweigh band at a local hotel (Ocean View Hotel). Had a great evening of NFLD music,a couple of beers and several glasses of Screech. We walked back to our campsite at 2 am.
July 19th
Packed up and went to Gros Morne KOA at Norris Point for three days. Started to rain.
Lots of craft shops and restaurants in Norris Point and Rocky Harbour. (pretty towns on Bonne Bay). John and Sherryl arrived at KOA this afternoon and are camping beside us.
We joined them for dinner and enjoyed Newfie music in a lounge afterwards.
