Happy Canada Day everyone. Went to free pancake breakfast at the Cornwall Civic Center.
Lots happening downtown and Charlottetown waterfront. Had mussels and beer at outdoor pub with band playing near Confederation Center. Watched the Festival of Lights(biggest fireworks east of Ottawa)over the Charlottetown harbour at 10p.m. Beautiful. Lobster rolls are $9 at Subway.
July 2nd
Good factory outlet stores near Charlottetown. Cindy, Saroush,their 15 year old twins Samantha and Jamie invited us over for a delicious Iranian dinner. Windy and some rain today.
July 3rd
Happy first birthday Liam. We miss you. Said our goodbyes to John and Sherryl from Louisanna and moved to Stratford RV Park-walking distance to Mom overlooking Charlottetown and the harbour. Went to Peakes Quay on the waterfront for dinner (great coconut shrimp and fish and chips) .Rob cooked up some bar clams he had dug the night before.
Happy 4th of July
Beautiful sunny day 28 deg C. Did service on truck after 5500km travelled. Invited to Cindy's for a swim,creamsicle slush and bbq steak. Woh! what a pool they have! Got sun burn.
July 5th
Picked Mom up and toured the eastern part of P.E.I. Visited a couple of Mom's sisters.
Lupins everywhere. Went wine tasting at the Rossignal Winery (P.E.I.'s only Winery) Stopped for fish and chips and the best home made Pecan pie ever. Rained heavy on the way back to Charlottetown. Need some more lessons on inserting pictures into blog. Hope you enjoyed the ones that were added.Dennis and Dixie are our camping neighbors from Medicine Hat.
