Okay, so when was the anniversary? Belated greetings from Carol and I. We had a great time on our week-long camping trip to Waterton and the Kootenay area. Weather was great with only a few drops of rain the whole week. Saw lots of wildlife - bears, deer - within inches of us at times, elk, foxes, sheep, goats and even a bald eagle. We met an Air Canada pilot and his wife at Woodbury Resort just north of Ainsworth Hot Springs and they gave us a 2 hour boat tour on Kootenay Lake and then joined us that evening for a barbecue at our trailer. My brother and sister-in-law really enjoyed it - they had never been to these places; they are now even geting the camping itch again after not camping for several years.
Then we had a quick 3 day whirlwind trip to Wpg for a cousin's wedding. Was back at work last Monday.
Yesterday, Saturday morning we had a very nice stampede breakfast at Terry / Judy's. Your usual crowd are all getting ready for the annual summer trip to the lake.
Hope to be at the campground a few more times before leaving for Wpg and our wedding -- just 5 weeks from today.
All the best, Carol and Sid
