August 9th.
What a wild night and morning!!!! High winds 90km/hr and heavy rain. Our fifth wheel was sure rocking. (from the winds that is!!! ) Cleared off in the afternoon. Picked up Mom and went to visit my aunt and uncle Eliza and Wendell. Wendell dug some new potatoes (Irish cobbler) for us.
We had delicious homemade fishcakes for supper at Mom's(I would not eat these when I was younger).
Ralph and I went to a Ceiliah Concert at 8pm-Maritime music with Fiddlers' Sons and two Cape Breton fiddlers/stepdancers. Very enjoyable.
August 10th Happy 5th Anniversary Derek and Carol
Old Home Week August 10 to 18th. Left at 9am and travelled to the eastern part of PEI-stopped at beautiful Crowbush Golf Course (Weir and Singh played here a few weeks ago),East Point (we have now traveled tip to tip of PEI) and Basin Head (with a narrow channel that flows in and out of the ocean at high and low tides -amazing) We walked the beach and sandbars and suntanned. We ate at the Cardigan Lobster supper-chowder,mussels,lobster and blueberry shortcake. Arrived back at 9:45pm very long day but so much fun.

Hi,
Well we are a week away for Carol and I. Carol is on a plane right now going to Wpg and Willow and I will leave Calgary Wed. morning to drive there. I just picked up the trailer to get ready.
Got a call from Gary and Karen the other day. They were wondering whether I would be at the campground on the long weekend. I told them I didn't know yet. It all depends on how we are doing in Yellowstone and area on our honeymoon. Since we didn't know if you would be back, I suggested they call Don and Margueritte.
All the best, we look forward to seeing you in Sept.
Sid and Carol
