PEI August 7th&8th

August 7th

Travelled almost 13 thousand kms so far. I did a bunch of laundry at Mom's seniors appartment this morning. Cloudy but came out nice later. We bought some lobsters, cooked them at our campsite and had Mom for supper. Tasty!!! Ralph's cousin Velda and Fred stopped by. Had to go outside to get connected to the internet but got eaten alive by mosquitos.

August 8th

Beautiful morning at 23 Deg C . We left at 10:30 am and got back at 8 pm. We drove to western PEI and then to the North. There is alot of PEI we haven't seen and it is bigger than we thought. We toured around Lennox Island(your namesake Rob and Genie)-Native Micmac Indians live here. We toured The Potato Museum in O'Leary and went to the very northern tip of PEI -North Cape. The red cliffs, the lighthouse and windmills generating power were impressive. By the time we got back it was raining heavy. We decided to go to the Old Dublin Pub,Charlottetown for Irish music and dinner. We stayed up till 12:30 a.m. doing our blog. It has been hit and miss to get on the internet. Poor coverage in this area of the campground. (due to electrical storms affecting the system on PEI).

You are certainly getting your fill of all that delicious seafood. You will miss that when you get back to Calgary. As for now, you will have the lowest cholosteral levels due to all that good fish oil.
Robbie left for Thunder Bay on Aug/9/07 to see his younger sister. She is very sick, and not expected to live very long. So, I am here with Cole. It has been raining on and off for about two days so your lawn is getting watered by old monther nature.
My cousin Rocky and his wife just came to Calgary today and I am taking them to the bar in Lakeview for a steak supper. We miss you.
