Halifax---July27th to 29th

July27

Left Antigonish about 9am and arrived at the closest campground to Halifax Woodhaven RV Park (24km to Halifax) . Another hot humid day 35 Deg C. We enjoyed a great visit and dinner with my sister Janet and husband Carl. After a lot of wine and drinks we stayed the night.

July 28th

34 Deg.C. Janet and I spent a couple of hours getting a pedicure and our nails done. Janet,Carl and their cocker spaniel Molly came out to spend the night with us. We had a lovely evening with dinner,a campfire and special coffees.

July 29th

Ralph made breakfast for the four of us. Cloudy after some rain during the night. After relaxing Sunday afternoon we went into Halifax. We strolled along the beautiful Halifax Waterfront. The four of us had dinner on the waterfront at Salty's Restaurant. The crabcakes, calamari, haddock, and scallops were tasty. Driving back to our campsite was very foggy.

Missed you at the Esso Cmpgr this weekend. There were about 14 to 15 units there.....all commenting on how nice to have power. Maureen and Darlene and I camped out there for the past week. AND the weather has been the greatest. Great to read about your trip. Sounds like you are having a wonderful time. Good for you two!!! Enjoy yourselves and hopefully will see you in September. We have sure been using our unit this summer. Hardly been home, going to Sparwood for a week on Friday. Must enjoy summer while we have it.
Travel safely! Jack & Darlene Oslanski

We were down in Koocanusca this long weekend. Camped with Darilee and Martin - we stayed in their trailer - water was like a bathtub. Beautiful country down there and the kids are thinking of moving to Jaffrey.
We have some sad news. Rob's younger sister has cancer and there is just no hope for her to recover. This all happened very fast. I think he will be flying to Thunder Bay sometime this week or next as she does not have very much time left.
Rob is eating your beet greens and digging up your potatoes and just filling his little face. He stays home and has breakfast with me on the weekends and is getting spoiled by my fabulous breakfasts. I don't know if he will be able to stand Zellers again. Just kidding. I imagine he will be right back into the routine when Ralph gets back.Your yard looks good. I was trying to get Robbie to wash your windows on the weekend. I'm not sure if he did them or not.
I love reading your blog. What an opportunity to enjoy life.
LOL,
Genie & Robbie
